The 3" diameter is for the base, which is not insertable. The product details page does not indicate the dimensions of the insertable length. Here they are as printed on the back of the box. Dildo insertable: W: 1. 98", H: 6", D: 2. 06" Don't get me wrong, it's still a formidable unit. But, not what we were looking for.
