What is Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store?

Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store (BOPIS) allows customers to purchase items on Loversstores.com and pick them up at the nearest store. 

How do I place a BOPIS order?

While shopping on our website, each product page will show whether the item is available for BOPIS at our retail stores. Simply select “add to cart,” and during the checkout process, you will be able to select your preferred pickup location from the available store options.

You can pick your preferred pickup location from the available store options as you complete the checkout process.

When will my order be ready for pickup?

Orders will be ready for pickup within 30 minutes of the order being placed. You will receive an initial confirmation email letting you know your order has been successfully placed. Once the store prepares your order, you will receive a second email confirming that your order is ready for pickup. 

How long do I have to pick up my order?

Customers may pick up their order starting 30 minutes after the store opens. Same-day BOPIS orders can be placed up to 1 hour before the store closes and can be picked up until 30 minutes before closing. Orders placed 1 hour before store closing hours will be ready for pickup the following day. Orders not picked up within 3 days will be cancelled. 

What do I need to bring to pick up my order?

Customers must bring their pickup confirmation email and their photo ID for verification purposes. 

Can someone else pick up my order?

No one else may pick up your order. The order must be picked up by the person who placed the order. We will verify the customer’s photo ID, and the customer will be required to print and sign their name on the receipt at the time of pick up. Lovers does not allow courier services or other 3rd parties to pick up BOPIS orders. 

Where do I go to pick up my order? 

Customers should go to the register area and ask an employee for assistance. 

How long will the store hold my order?

Lovers will hold BOPIS orders for 3 days. If the order is not picked up within that time, the store will cancel the order.

What happens if an item in my order is out of stock?

If an item is unavailable, the store will remove the item from your order before fulfillment. A refund will be processed to your original payment method, and you will receive an email confirmation for the refunded item. 

Can I change my pickup location after placing an order?

Pickup locations cannot be changed once the order is placed. The customer would need to request an order cancellation and replace the order with their preferred location. 

Can I switch my order to shipping instead of pickup?

Orders cannot be changed to shipping after they are placed. If you need to switch to shipping, please request a cancellation by calling the store or emailing CS@loversstores.com. Once the order is cancelled, you may place a new order with shipping selected. 

Can I cancel my BOPIS order?

To request a BOPIS cancellation, please call the store or send an email to CS@loversstores.com and request that the order be cancelled. Our Store Team or Customer Service team will process the cancellation, and you will be issued a refund to your original form of payment. 

What if I don’t receive a pickup email?

Please check your spam/promotional folders. If you still don’t see the email, please contact the store or our Customer Service team at CS@loversstores.com

Item(s) that I want to purchase are in stock on the website, but not in the store I want to pick up from.

If an item is in stock online but not available at the store you selected for pickup, we’re unable to create a split order.

To complete your purchase, you’ll need to either:

  1. Choose another store location where all items are available for pickup, or place a separate order for shipping.

Return/Exchange Policy 

 At Lovers, we stand behind the products we sell. Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges on items not found to be defective. If you receive a defective product, we will provide a replacement or exchange within 30 days of the original purchase date.

All returns or exchanges must be processed at the original pickup location. If you are unable to visit the store where you collected your order, please reach out to our Customer Service team at CS@loversstores.com for further assistance.

Please note: We do not accept returns on products that were not purchased from Lovers or from loversstores.com. We do not offer satisfaction returns.

Discount Policy

Online only discounts are honored when placing a BOPIS order; these online exclusive discounts cannot be added, matched, or applied when shopping directly in the store.
